Our colony having 18 Blocks/144 Tenements were constructed in the year 1961 by Maharashtra Housing & Area Development Board and is basically for
Lower-income Group people & Dis-housed people of Mumbai. The colony had Mango Orchard in between the open space ( Now a Garden). It was like a small village. The houses were given on rent till the year 2000 when our society got Conveyance executed by MHADA. The land was given on Lease and houses were sold by taking the minimum cost of construction from each member.
